Historical St.Petersburg
The project of multimedia exposition "Windows of St. Petersburg" allows you to travel through different epochs in the history of the Northern Capital. There are six "windows" - six thematic spaces, each of them bears authentic character of certain epoch. The time frame is conditioned by the conception, well established in the national historiography. St. Petersburg in our culture is often characterized as a "window to Europe". Thus, the choice of "window" as the main plastic form is dictated by its semantic meaning in the context of "Russian culture"
