Structurally categorized as direct-drive or mechanism-amplified, the latter provides displacement several to tens of times larger than direct-drive under identical voltage/actuators, while direct-drive offers faster response. CoreMorrow stages achieve up to 1000μm travel, nanometer resolution, and millisecond response, vital for precision positioning in microscopy, optical alignment, nanomanipulation, laser interferometry, and nanolithography.
