Having structured our track, it's now time to focus on getting it to sound as good as possible. To do this, we'll be mixing - adding effects and balancing elements within to create sonically pleasing end result. Following on from this, we will master track and then export to end up with finished article! Let's begin with mixing, starting by exploring Live's Mixer. This gives us control over signal from our tracks. Here, we can set levels using volume faders, make use of stereo field using pan pots and solo or mute tracks to control what we are listening to. As well as this, we can also route signals around Ableton Live, making use of Sends and Returns. In this video, we take look at Live's Mixer, showing features such as volume faders, pan pots and muting/soloing tracks.
