Hosted at his private studio in Wales, this series follows Blake's entire mix process for song 'Love and Hate' by Her, which was tracked by Andrew Scheps and documented in our first 'Recording Band' series! Upon receiving multi-track and rough mix from Andrew, Tchad imports it into his unique Pro Tools template session that he explains in detail.

He proceeds to combine expertly-recorded vocals, drums, bass, guitars and synthesizers with an array of daring mix techniques. You'll see how he uses variety of plugins to apply EQ, compression, distortion, spatial enhancement, effects and more. Despite working fully 'in box', Tchad never fails to achieve character and grit of magnetic tape and analog processing with contemporary modern twist!
