Next, let's add chords on top of drums. Even if you are not familiar with music theory, Logic has features that will help you build chords in selected key and scale. We can also utilise MIDI FX such as Chord Trigger and Arpeggiator to come up with new chords and variations of chord progression. In this video, we will create chord progression using Scale Quantize in Logic. Scale Quantize applies quantisation to pitch of MIDI notes. When writing chords, this feature can help you stick to particular scale and key.
