Automation allows us to change different parameters over time, such as track volume, filter cutoff and more! This can be used to aid structure of track, for example gently fading in/out different parts to create smooth transitions. We can manually draw in automation, or even record ourselves adjusting parameters in real-time. This video demonstrates how to apply automation to range of parameters, either by drawing or recording it in.
